Alpine will debut its new PDR vehicle amplifiers at the 2014 International CES taking place Jan. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The PDR amplifiers are an entirely new line from Alpine.

Pioneer Electronics Inc. today launched two mono Class-D amplifiers to join its family of GM-series car stereo amplifiers. These new amplifiers are designed to combine high power output and high efficiency while simultaneously producing the high-fidelity audio Pioneer is known for. The GM-D7400M and GM-D8400M digital mono amplifiers, intended for powering large subwoofers, use digital technology that make them 80-95 percent more efficient than conventional class A/B amplifiers. Due to the increased efficiency, the physical size of the new amplifiers was also reduced by 45 percent, making them more compact and easier to install…
