All-New 2013 Nissan Sentra Enhanced With Bose Premium Sound System
With the introduction of the redesigned 2013 Nissan Sentra, a Bose premium sound system will be available for the first time in the popular compact sedan. The Bose sound system for the 2013 Sentra has been custom-engineered for the vehicle’s interior and includes eight speakers strategically placed and acoustically tuned to ensure the highest quality audio experience for all listeners.
Bose began collaborating with Nissan Motor Company nearly 25 years ago and the Sentra now joins an extensive lineup of Nissans currently available with Bose sound systems, including the Altima, Armada, GT-R, Maxima, Murano, Pathfinder, Quest, Rogue and Z.

Bose Premium Sound System For Nissan Sentra
The Bose premium sound system for the Sentra features eight high-performance speakers, including two 1-inch neodymium tweeters — one in each A-pillar; four 6.5-inch neodymium wide-range speakers — one in each door; and two 6 X 9-inch woofers mounted on the rear deck. System electronics include a powerful Bose digital amplifier mounted in the trunk with digital signal processing and eight channels of custom equalization.

For many, the vehicle is the primary place for listening and experiencing music. However, multiple acoustic factors within the cabin can dramatically affect audio quality. Bose engineers addressed this challenge in the Sentra by applying a “Clean Sheet Approach” to designing the sound system. Working closely with Nissan designers from the early stages of the vehicle’s development, Bose utilized proprietary tools and techniques to assess the acoustic environment, determine speaker type and location, and customize signal processing and equalization. As a result, music is reproduced more accurately, with more of the richness and detail of a live performance.
