Alpine Electronics Ships First Head Units Compatible With The New SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner
Alpine announced that it is shipping its new 1-DIN CD receivers which are compatible with SiriusXM’s newest in-vehicle satellite radio tuner. The CDE-124SXM and CDE-123 CD receivers are the first aftermarket head units that work with the new SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit and the first products to feature the new SiriusXM-Ready logo.
Enhanced Satellite Radio Features
The SXV100 receives SiriusXM programming on the XM network (XM subscription required) and provides integrated programming control in a compact package, without the need for additional translators or cables. The SXV100 consists of the satellite radio tuner and magnetic rooftop antenna. It can access over 180 channels of commercial-free music, and premier sports, news, talk and entertainment. The SXV100 has advanced features which allow for a customizable satellite radio experience. These features, which are controlled through the Alpine receiver, include:
- SiriusXM Replay™ allowing for pause, rewind and replay of up to 30 minutes of live SiriusXM content.
- iTunes® Tagging to save song information for later purchase through the iTunes store.
- Song Alert™ and Artist Alert™ for notification when a favorite song or artist is playing on any SiriusXM channel.
- Game Alert™ for notification when favorite teams from the NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and select college football and basketball teams are playing live on Sirius XM.

CDE-124SXM CD Receiver With SXV100 Siriusxm Connect Vehicle Tuner Bundle
For the first time, Alpine is offering an all-in-one head unit/SiriusXM tuner bundle, model CDE-124SXM, which consists of a CD receiver and the SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner packaged together. The CD receiver has a built-in amplifier with CEA-2006 power rating of 18W RMS x 4, a three-band parametric EQ, and one pre-amp output. The front USB port and aux input jack allow for the connection of other external storage devices.
CDE-123 CD Receiver
Also compatible with the SXV100 is the CDE-123 CD receiver (SXV100 sold separately). The CDE-123 has a built-in amplifier with CEA-2006 power rating of 18W RMS x 4, a three-band parametric EQ, and three sets of preouts (4V). It has front and rear USB ports and an aux input jack to connect additional external storage devices. It comes with a cable for iPod® or iPhone® connectivity and is compatible with Bluetooth® wireless technology (separate module required).
The CDE-124SXM and CDE-123 CD receivers are the first aftermarket head units that work with the new SXV100 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit and the first products to feature the new SiriusXM-Ready logo.

Pricing for the CDE-124SXM is $229.95 MAP; this product is now available at authorized Alpine retailers in the 48 contiguous U.S. The CDE-123 is $199.95 MAP and is now available at authorized Alpine retailers in the U.S.
The SXV100, for use with the CDE-123, is available now for $69.99 through SiriusXM’s distribution channel.
