JVC Mobile Releases 6 New In-dash CD Receivers
JVC Mobile Entertainment has added seven new CD receivers to its 2009 product line.
JVC Mobile’s new Flagship KD-R900 In-Dash CD Receiver features two Full-Speed USB 2.0 ports for connection of an iPod®/iPhone™, USB flash memory drives, digital audio players, and portable HDD devices. Users can connect two of these devices simultaneously by utilizing the KD-R900’s dedicated front and rear USB ports. Also featured on this receiver is full Bluetooth® functionality, including hands-free phone calling and wireless audio streaming capability via an included USB Bluetooth® adapter and high-quality external wired microphone. The included USB Bluetooth® adapter operates as a fully-functional receiver, transmitter, and antenna for Bluetooth® and plugs into either of the KD-R900’s USB ports. Convenient and Full-Speed iPod®/iPhone™ song selection is made possible through a 2-way iPod control feature, allowing the option of using the in-dash receiver’s or the iPod®/iPhone™ controls themselves to make music selections. Artist, Title, and Album information display, as well as Play, Pause, Skip, and Reverse functions are enabled in both control modes. The unit is equipped with a front aux input, Flip-Down detachable faceplate, and a Full Dot LCD display with variable-color illumination which is capable of over 30,000 customizable colors to match most vehicles’ interior illumination hues. The unit is also HD Radio™ Ready, Satellite Radio Ready, and MP3/WMA compatible. The KD-R900 features a 3-Band Parametric iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50W x 4, and 5V front, rear, and subwoofer pre-outputs with Subwoofer Control. The receiver is available in March with an MSRP of $269.95.

The KD-R800 CD Receiver features Dual USB ports, included USB Bluetooth® adapter, front aux input, detachable faceplate, and Full Dot LCD Display, The unit is also HD Radio™ Ready, Satellite Radio Ready, and MP3/WMA compatible. The KD-R800 also includes a 3-Band Parametric iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50W x 4, variable-color illumination and front, rear, and subwoofer pre-outputs with Subwoofer Control The receiver is available in February with an MSRP of $219.95.
The KD-HDR50 CD Receiver features a built-in HD Radio™ tuner with Multicasting and iTunes® Tagging capability, front auxiliary input, and Full-Speed USB 2.0 connection with 2-way control for iPod®/iPhone™. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-HDR50 also features 7-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and a variable-color illumination display. The receiver is available for shipping in January and has a MSRP of $179.95.

The receiver has an MSRP of $139.95 and ships in January.
The KD-R600 CD Receiver features a Full-Speed USB 2.0 connection with 2-way control and charging for iPod®/iPhone™. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, HD Radio™ Ready, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-R600 also features a 3-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and variable-color illumination display. The receiver is available in January with an MSRP of $159.95.
The company’s new KD-R300 CD Receiver features front auxiliary input, wireless remote, MOSFET 50 watts x 4, and 3-band iEQ. The unit is ready for Bluetooth® adapter, Satellite Radio Ready, HD Radio™ Ready, and Ready for iPod®, and has MP3/WMA playback capability. The KD-R300 also features a 3-band iEQ, wireless remote, MOS-FET 50 watts x 4, and variable-color illumination display. The receiver is offered at an MSRP of $119.95 and is currently shipping.
The KD-R200 CD Receiver features MP3/WMA playback capability, front auxiliary input, wireless remote, MOSFET 50 watts x 4, and 3-band iEQ. The KD-R200 is currently shipping with an MSRP of $99.95.
