Jvc Mobile Entertainment's Compact Digital Amps Bring Big Power
JVC Mobile Entertainment, creator of the World's Smallest Digital Amplifier*, has introduced three new high-end class digital amplifiers into its 2008 Arsenal Series product line.
JVC Mobile's new KS-AR8000 series amps offer superior, natural sound in a compact size due to the introduction of JVC’s own floating isolated structure IC. The floating isolated structure offers simple, high-speed and efficient noise reduction from inside the amp, so just one analog feedback is required to get high-quality sound in a wider frequency range.

The KS-AR8000 series amplifiers also offer an easily accessible, stylish design integrated with simple, space-saving installation choices. Amps feature removable cover for easy adjustment and control from either top or front. Terminals are located within the body of the amp, hidden from the surface and providing a superior aesthetic quality. Due to the compact size of Arsenal digital amps, installation can be done in a number of locations within a vehicle in a vertical or horizontal position, single or stacked, behind or under seat, or in the trunk area.
JVC Mobile's KS-AR8001D is a Digital Mono Power Amplifier featuring continuous power output of 700W RMS x 1 at 4 ohms, or 700W RMS x 1 at 2 ohms. The amp offers a frequency response of 20-300Hz and will be released with an MSRP of $549.95.
The KS-AR8002D, a Bridgeable Digital 2ch Power Amplifier, features continuous power output of 150W RMS x 2 at 4 ohms, or 170W RMS x 2 at 2 ohms bridged. The amp offers a frequency response of 5-40kHz. MSRP for the KS-AR8002D will be $449.95.
The KS-AR8004D, a Bridgeable Digital 4ch Power Amplifier with continuous power output of 120W RMS x 4 at 4 ohms, or 130W RMS x 4 at 2 ohms bridged. The amp offers a frequency response of 5-40kHz, and has 4-, 3- or 2-channel operation. MSRP is $549.95.
All KS-AR8000 series amps will be shipping in March.
