Alpine Adds Six New Models To The Lineup Of SiriusXM-Ready Units
Alpine has expanded the number of receivers compatible with the SiriusXM satellite radio service. Nine Alpine receivers are SiriusXM-Ready and offer the capability of receiving SiriusXM’s expanded commercial-free music; sports and comedy channel lineup as well as SiriusXM Latino, a suite of Spanish-language programming.

Alpine has six new 2013 receivers that are SiriusXM-Ready, in addition to three models carrying over from 2012. SiriusXM programming is received through the SXV200 SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner Kit. The Alpine receivers can control SiriusXM features including iTunes® Tagging; SiriusXM Replay™ for pause, rewind and replay of up to 60 minutes of live SiriusXM content; Song Alert and Artist Alert for notification when a favorite song or artist is playing on any channel; and Game Alert™ for notification when favorite teams from the NFL, NBA, NHL or college football and basketball leagues are playing live.
Tune Scan and Tune Start are new SiriusXM features included in the new CDE-SXM145BT, which is a CD receiver bundled with the SXV200 Connect Vehicle Tuner. The SXV200 will allow customers to rewind and replay content they may have missed while listening to another channel. The Tune Scan feature scans through songs from the customer’s personal music channel presets. The customer can end the Tune Scan and continue listening to the currently broadcast song in its entirety. In addition, whenever the customer tunes to a preset music channel, the current song will automatically start playing from the beginning.
