Rockford Fosgate Updates Prime R1 Subwoofer Lineup for 2014

Rockford Fosgate announced that they updated the entire six model Prime Series R1 subwoofer line for 2014. The 10- and 12-inch subwoofers and four sealed enclosure options will be showcased at The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. from Jan. 7-9, 2014, and are scheduled ship Q1 2014.

"Our 2014 R1 models are a step up from its predecessors. They now work great in sealed and vented enclosures, have an integrated trim ring, and increased power handling of 200 watts RMS. PRIME woofers are the perfect first step into performance mobile audio."

The 2014 models are Klippel-verified and CES-2013 Compliant, and feature an aluminum curvilinear dust-cap to dissipate heat generated by the increased power handling as well as a solid stamped steel frame and integrated frame mounted compression terminals.
