Clarion Announces Its 2010 Car Audio CD Source Units Lineup
Clarion, a leader in the mobile electronics industry, introduces six in-dash CD source units in 2010 all packed with the hottest and most demanded features, while keeping pricing affordable.
Clarion’s entire CD line-up offers premium cosmetics with lustrous blue illumination and a unique starburst button configuration. The CZ500 is the most advanced of the single DIN CD source unit group offering a 2-line display and unmatched connectivity to the music and devices you use most. The CZ500 offers simple connection and integration of your iPod® or iPhone®, built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and stereo audio streaming, USB and AUX connections to access music on portable devices. To top it off, the CZ500 even throws in a separate visor microphone to give Clarion owners, and callers, a clear and smooth hands-free calling experience.
Clarion CX609
The CZ500 and CZ300 both are HD Radio® Ready (optional THD300) with the iTunes® tagging feature and are XM Satellite Radio Ready. They offer superior sound quality with subwoofer volume control and advanced sound technology.
The CZ300 is Bluetooth® Ready, offers a front panel 3.5mm AUX input, USB audio for iPod® and is iPhone® compatible. The CZ200 model is also iPod® and iPhone® compatible, has rear USB connector and is Bluetooth® Ready.
The CZ100 is Clarion’s most affordable CD head unit with MP3/ WMA playback, front panel AUX input and is Bluetooth® Ready.
Clarion’s CZ source unit line-up offers superior sound quality with Magna Bass EX Dynamic Bass Enhancement, Parametric EQ, Beat EQ for sound adjustment and are all OEM steering wheel control ready and include a remote control in the box. Many of these features were found only on premium products but are now offered even in Clarion’s entry level products.

Clarion’s double DIN CD Source units, the CX609 and the CX400 have large button controls for an OEM replacement style fitting elegantly in any dash. The CX609 is a premium source unit with built-in Bluetooth® interface for hands-free calling and audio streaming, and is customizable with its 728 variable color display and illuminated keys. The CX609 has a big presence in your dash with wireless hands-free convenience. Both the CX 609 and CX400 are Sirius Satellite Radio Ready with optional CLA-SC1 module for connectivity and is also XM Mini-Tuner Direct.
Clarion’s CX400 offers customizable sound and easy operation. The CX400 is Bluetooth ready offers iPod connectivity via USB, plays MP3/ WMA and is iTunes® AAC compatible with ID3-TAG display.
All Clarion 2010 CD source units will be available and shipping middle of the first quarter of the new year.
