Kenwood Releases New Subwoofer Models For 2009
Kenwood USA Corporation is introducing new subwoofer models that strike a perfect balance between value and performance. All models are upgraded versions of industry-leading Kenwood subwoofers, the sales of which gave Kenwood the top-ranking subwoofer model through most of 2008 according to The NPD Group.

The 12” KFC-W3012 ($140.00 suggested retail price) retains the best attributes of 2008’s best-selling KFC-W3011 while taking on an improved cosmetic design, shallower mounting depth and longer cone excursion. RMS power is rated at 400 watts (RMS), with a maximum peak power of 1,200 watts. The KFC-W3012 offers silver 8-gauge push-type input terminals, ideal for quick system hookup even with the use of a wider gauge speaker cable. The KFC-W2512 ($130.00 suggested retail price) is a 10” subwoofer that is rated at 300 watts (RMS) with a maximum peak power of 1,000 watts.

A 12” dual 4-ohm voice coil version, the KFC-W3012DVC ($150.00 suggested retail price), provides multiple impedance options for a wider range of system applications. Maximum power handling is also increased to 1,400 watts, giving the KFC-W3012DVC the ability to handle high power amplification with ease.
