Jvc Mobile Expands Its HD Radio Lead With New Models
JVC Mobile Entertainment continues to respond to peak demand for in-vehicle solutions for built-in HD Radio with new in-dash CD receiver models KD-HDR30, KD-AHD39 for Arsenal, the new KT-HD300 hide-away tuner box for HD Radio ready receivers, and new model KT-HDP1 plug and play HD Radio system for car or home application.

JVC KD-HDR30
The KD-HDR30 and KD-AHD39 in-dash CD receivers, including built-in Multicast capable HD Radio tuners, feature a front AUX input, 7-band iEQ, loudness control, 2-line output terminals, and are equipped for readiness with iPod, Bluetooth and Satellite radio. MSRP for the KD-HDR30 is $179.95 while MSRP for the KD-AHD39 is $199.95. Shipping dates on both models are to be announced at a later date.
The KT-HD300 will be compatible within the new lineup of in-dash units starting at $119 with the KD-G340 CD Receiver and adds HD radio tuning to all JVC HD radio ready receivers.
The KT-HDP1 Plug and Play HD Radio receiver provides HD tuning for a wide variety of applications. The KT-HDP1 plug and play HD Radio system adapts to most vehicles and features a thin and slim design with built-in HD (with multi-cast), FM and AM tuners.
The KT-HDP1 features:

- 18 preset channels

Accessories for the KT-HDP1 include two kits for in-car installation and one for home use. The KV-K1017 allows professional installation of the KT-HDP1 into vehicles with upgraded sound quality output using a standard antenna junction interface. The KV-K1018 allows easier installation of the HD radio plug and play tuner without the need to take out the in-dash stereo, in cases where the vehicle is leased or the stereo is not possible to be removed. The KV-K1019 home kit allows the tuner to be transported into the home or office to use in conjunction with a home audio or theatre system.
The KV-K1017 Professional Installation kit is currently available with an MSRP of $39.95. The KV-K1018 and KV-K1019 are also available currently both with an MSRP of $49.95.
Also available in 2008 is the KT-HD300 which connects through JVC’s own J-BUS expansion port. The KT-HD300 will be compatible within the new lineup of in-dash units starting at $119 with the KD-G340 CD Receiver and adds HD radio tuning to all JVC HD radio ready receivers. MSRP for the KT-HD300 is $149.95 and is now currently shipping.
