These marine amplifiers feature similar sleek cosmetics to that of their sister products for automobiles with even more durable features such as non-corrosive aluminum housings to endure the harsh marine environment.
The APX490M marine amplifier offers 640 watts of power with 90 watts by 4 channels @ 4 ohms and 165 watts by 4 channels @ 2 ohms and hi-level speaker inputs.

Their rugged design includes special conformally-coated circuit boards to resist mold, mildew, and moisture damage. Clarion’s APX290M has 320 watts of maximum power with 90 watts by 2 channels @ 4 ohms or 150 watts by 2 channels @ 2 ohms and hi-level speaker inputs.
The APX490M marine amplifier offers 640 watts of power with 90 watts by 4 channels @ 4 ohms and 165 watts by 4 channels @ 2 ohms and hi-level speaker inputs. Both amplifiers will be available in Spring 2008.
